Checked Chief aircraft and website says it is in stock [X(]... I may break down and whip the plastic money and charge it[>:][>:]....

Feel sorry for yourself Sandor. I've had mine for 6 months. Oh, and by the way, it's 14 channels, 12 proportional and 2 Digital switch channels. [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

they are in.....................and very lilmited on this first delivery. They are being shipped to the LHS on an "allocation" basis. the longer you have had one on order, the more likely you are to get one of this first shipment.

mine also, was shipped to my LHS on friday!
im excited to get my paws on it. my LHS did a pretty cool thing, if i pre-payed (a month ago) they gave me a really good deal, which i did. and have been paitently waiting....

I just picked mine up from the LHS.
Now I have to figure out how to make it do what I want it to do. I am converting from a Futaba 9CAP to the 12X.
It will be on it's way to Blue Grass tomorrow.

The 12X is going into everything, the 9cap is up for sale.
The F-18 is on hold, I am finishing a Jet Legend F-15. The ARF's are so much easier to get motivated to complete, I guess it's an A.D.D. thing
The F-18 is still too much work to get excited about.

I am still at work, so I have not played with it much, and my only reference is the Futaba 9CAP.
The best I can say is it has alot of buttons, knobs and other stuff. It feels nice, rubber grips on the sides and rear.
That's really all I know.

When you send in the 12X gift offer registration card, you receive a hat, coffee cup and a JR 12X pen.
Now I get to send in for the great 2.4GHz DSM giveaway and get two "free" AR9100 receivers.
It's been a good day.

Which version are most of you getting..ie. the module based one or the dedicated 2.4 GHZ one? Are there any disadvantages to the module based version?
