Hello:

I have only the retracts in my F-18 and are of the best quality that you can find. I have the 90ΒΊ rotation version). I use too the rubber wheels in my jets in combination with Eurokit whells and brakes. Are a very hard rubber.

Regards from Spain.

Carlos.

I had a set of Airpower retracts some time ago. The ones with the blue anodised frames. They were the worst set of retacts I ever had. The metal was soft, the trunions opened up with even normal landings. I needed replacement frames & tried to get spare parts from them, only to be told they were not a supplied part.
I threw the lot in the bin & bought Robart.

the new ones are perfect , forget the old ones.
use the RA-210 or the RA-250
these new ones are redisigned , we use them also.
the wheels and brakes are the same that skymaster now uses on all their new models

Are Skymaster or Airpower going to offer spare parts - i.e. trunions, tires, etc.?

Just curious as I have a new SM F-18F on the benc\h now and am having same concerns as Bigbri. My last F-18 went through trunions pretty frequently due to the way they take the landing and ground loads.
