Default 1st Problem with UP3

After many, many, successful, mindless set ups with these valves, I finally had one that leaks air like a strainer.

I had both little alan screws (yes, there are two very little ones, one on top and one on the side) leak.

I also had two brass nipples leak around the bottom, where they mate with the aluminum case.

I was unable to fix them as the CA I was using was hardening too soon (ie before I could thread the alan screws and brass nipples back in)

Oh well, I thought these were God sends, but they also have a failure rate. [&o]

Lesson learned: Hook up the valve and test it before its placed in a spot that is unaccessible. [:@]

Are you going to send it back to UP?

I had my UP3 not functioning well after a crash/fire event. Sent valve to UP and got it back fixed free of charge. Now it is installed in my FB Rafale, with no need for any adjustment and it is working flawlessly!!!

Great valve, great company
Regards.
