Having just read another thread relating to particular RF link, I was interested to hear the experiences of those who have been flying with Weatronic recievers. It seemed that they provided the 'Holy Grail' for 35/36 etc MHZ users. Has that been the case over time?

Nice device
no need for powerbox
no need for sequenser
but still 2 receiver system on the same channel
so it takes only one person to shoot you down...
but i think weatronic will strike back with a vengeance and come out soon with 2,4 i am sure...
i think we will see it on Jetpower 2008..

Thanks Sandor.
As nobody has posted I guess it must be as good as it gets.

No, its better than that ! A truly superb piece of electronics, I have 3, the data acquistion facility is absolutely magic.
I know of at least one case, Dave Shulman, at the JWM where a switch to Weatronics may well have prevented a crash after he suffered at least two failsafes and flameouts using his Futaba radio in Graham Mears exquisite Sabre. He swapped to DR and had no problems, I checked his data card on my laptop, all was well.
If, when, they go to 2.4 then we have the true Holy Grail !

David Gladwin.

I have one in a Eurosport. The amount of data that can be looked at after a flight is unbelievable and very helpfull in knowing what is going on during the flight.
