Default Servo setup for a ROO

Hi guys,
Im in the process of setting up my kangaroo.
Im Planning to use the Futaba S9252 digitals for all flying surfaces with a seperate 6V power supply thru an optical isolator.
Im a little confused because Futaba rates torque at both 4.8 v as well as 6v , and yet says that use of a 6v power supply is not recommended.
I have been using 6v in my Edge540 directly plugged into the RX without a problem. Is it really a problem with 6v ?
Is it better to go with a voltage regulator and dropping down the voltage to 5.8v ?
