Default RC VTOL - Stabilize Question!

Video 1: Using vectoring plates to stabilize the hovering.. am I right?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCJ70Fr1umA

Video 2 : Using props on the wing/boom tips to stabilize it..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQxuf...eature=related

Is first method (video 1) involved less parts or my eye has missed some embedded wing/boom props to stabilise?

Default RE: RC VTOL - Stabilize Question!

So everybody is working real hard to try and fly a real RC VTOL - and here is a guy who simply taxies out,
tilts his powerplant, takes off, makes the transition from hovering to flight and back and lands in a controlled
way?????????? What did we miss here??? This was pretty impressive![:-][:-]
