Andy,
I bought mine on Ebay. Look for matress toppers and you can get like a queen or king size 2 or 3" thick memory foam for a good deal. Just gotta look carefully as some will sell for 200 bucks and then you can find one for 80 or less. The company I got mine from sold iregulars for 50 bucks and it was just like a corner that wasn't 3" and the rest was perfect. Good luck. Here to save you time. http://shop.ebay.com/items/__mattres..._scZ1QQ_sopZ15

I got a 3" thick knock off "Memory foam" topper for a king bed from Overstock.com for $108. That was about two years ago but the shipping was right for such a heavy item
That stuff works great as ZERO vibration gets transmitted. Dont know if they still have it though. And I am too lazy to look before I type. Scott

For my first trailer, I bought 2" foam from an upholstery supply wholesaler, and got a great deal.
Look inh the Yellow Pages for one near you. They have many thicknesses and many different firmnesses.
I did my current trailer with foam from Joann Fabric Stores, as they are nearby my new home. A little more pricey, but handy....

I bought a larger high quality piece from a local army surplus store. Several smaller pieces at a store in the Atlanta area called Hobby Lobby (its a craft store not a hobby store), they have locations in most other states.

To the guys in the New England area, I recently bought some 4"x48"x96" white for my trailer at Building 19.
To the guys NOT in the New England area, Building 19 is about 50 places below Wal-Mart's caliber.

Linen's and Things - Bankrupcy Sale right now all over the US and Bed Bath and Beyond if you have time - LOL...
They will have what you need. Time is money and you can spend a lot of time bagain shopping on the internet - when you can drive 3 miles down the road and get what you need.

Ok,
I'll mention Ebay one more time. Here's one. 3" king size memory foam for 88.00 shipped( http://cgi.ebay.com/3-KING-5-5-VISCO...286.m14.l1318? ) The memory foam is denser than that other suff at the craft stores and it handles kero and gas pretty good too. Don't know how much cheaper you can get a 3" king size for not to mention no tax.

I went right past those eBarf URLs - those are some pretty good deals, especially the 2" stuff. I don't use a trailer but that stuff on the floor of my minivan would be just the ticket. Thanks for being persistent!! [8D]
