It will be a blast from the past to cruise around with the F-16. At least you had all the pieces. I picked up a second hand Ultra Viper that was missing quite a few bits (like the engine, fan, soft fan mount, etc). Most of this stuff isn't made anymore but I picked up a new(?) BVM 91 on ebay, a new Viojett from an RCU user in CA, Kelly R from Montana donated a duct hatch cover, and I fortunately had a bunch of old spare bits and pieces (including a puffer pipe) in my stash of boxes. The (re)maiden will be this weekend as soon as I can program the !@#$%^& flaperon travel!!!!!

Good luck with your '16. If I get to Indiana, how about a Heritage Flight before we both convert to kero?

Jim

i think the bvm hatch latch would do a better job than that one.

So is this a Mid Life Upgrade ?????

Hobby Lobby / Graupner make a skookum hatch latch that has a longer "handle" than the BVM one....

going to start getting her back air worthy by sawing off the wings and drilling out the spars and converting to a plug in system,, those of you that have built this bird know that the spars DONT go in very deep at all, I have a friend maching prolink style struts for me and then my alum-spars .
ha ha the struts are not for old yeller ..lol.. I have two sets comming one for a new project after yeller and im giving one set away.
