Ray,
We had about 50 of this kit availble with rudder for turbine use. The wing alignment and some other former are done here for better quality control.
In the pass all my ARF are assemble in china. But due to poor quality from china labor. We bring works back here to had it done right. It cost little more.
But every kit left my shop will end up with a happy customer.
P.S. FF Bob.
You are behide James S.
He order his a week before I even announced.

Kevin,
We only had enough this kit with rudder for turbine.
So that option not available. You could made rudder out from that kit. We did it with our proto type.

Vin,
Tam is flying the prototype with a P-60. So I guess that a Artes Bee would work too. I think that the '44 gold would be the best combination due to the light weight and low fuel burn....................

John

The prototype is being flown with a P-60 with more than enough power. It would fly great with a 44 and would still have close to a 1 to 1 thrust ratio. This is truly a recession proof jet...3 flights per gallon of kero, unlimited vertical, easy to transport and flies great! Here is the link to the original prototype thread:

The flights yesterday were a blast on the 8S setup. Although you can add cells and blast verticals, the 8S combo was great! Plenty of power and lightweight. Remember, less cells is less money for batteries!
All new are the wheels and brakes. Regardless of psi (60lbs or 110lbs) these brakes work the same. They won't lock up the wheels and are just a great design. Here is the link to the new brakes and wheels.

I can't decide which one I like more, the P60 or electric! Turbine sounds cool and justs sips the kero...but electric is just so easy and with the price of 8S packs, you can economically own 3 packs and fly all day long.

The 3 flights yesterday only took 2100mAh average for 3 mins.
So the pack we got onboard good for 4.5min. Since it so light. We can use 4450mAh. That is solid 6 mins flight time.
What else can you ask for fun and affordable jet during the bad time.

Well....where have I been ?
OK, about $1100/1200 'complete'....not bad, Tam! Is that ARF for a 44-Gold...and what's the weight of that combo w/ UAT full? Work needed: anything major beyond systems installs? Is the gear grass capable? Love to hear of the first Gold flights.....Tx!

Ray,
The plane pretty easy to assemble. Normal it took us 20-25 hrs to finish RTF. That including do the gear doors. If not doing the gear door. You can do it in 15-18 hrs.
