Default Ducted Fan kits

Is yellow aircraft the only company still making 90 size ducted fan kits?

Appears the ads and ebay are drying up on ducted fan jet kits.

Jet Hanger Hobbies still makes DF kits and I think Avonds still makes DF versions of their kits. The electric DF set ups have revived interest in some of the older kits.

JD enterprieses make a nice line of kits. I have his f8 and F104. With byron fans.

Sunset models makes kit too. I have never seen one though.

The classified here are a good place to check along with ebay for kits. I ave bought a few form both.

Good luck and I love goo drippers too.

It's a good looking plane, I'm just never going to have time to build it though. Probably would be a good turbine conversion too.

Wish more companies made DF, make arfs for either electric or dynamac/91 or bvm/91-96.

Incidentally, there is a relatively new (bench run only) BVM 81 c/w Viojett & pipe on ebay (search on item 330257199634). Current bid is $200. There is also a starter probe.

Hi,

Be careful buying "bench run only" DF engines. If you don't know what you're doing, you can ruin one in less than 30 seconds. Also, for that particular engine, it was more than likely bench run many years ago. When it comes to DF engines, buy them new (even second-hand) or buy used ones only from people known and reputed to be very 'stand up' guys in the hobby. Not that the other guy will rip you off; he may just not know what he's selling....

Found this out the hard way back in the day....
