Default G Force

I am planning to build an "overpowered" jet to achieve the max speed possible...

What will be the structural limit?

What is the max G Force that a normal jet can support?

Experiences...?

Rey Mono, why are you wanting to reach the max speed possible?. about 300 km/h isn´t good enough?

Saludos, Enrique.

The only online video that shows something visible is this one... the other ones are simply a camera trying to find something in the sky!

The Megabar / Isobar is designed to handle 40 G's. To my knowledge, there is no engine that you can fit in this airplane that will get it there. I'm not even sure if the AMT 88 lbs thrust turbine would fit. It was designed around an olympus or P200. I think the math said you could get to 15 to 18 G's, but as I recall, the speed would come off such that you could not get more than that.

The elevators surface area is rated for full deflection 200 MPH via 8611 servos. 15lbs (rough) of force per elevator at max throw max (US) speed.

There are other jets out there that can get to 200MPH + more efficiently and more beautifully than one of these homebuilts (BVM's bandit line for one), but I don't think any of them are mathematically rated at higher loads.

The only one I know of that might be rated for more is the Jack Knife, but I have not sat down and discussed numbers with him. He has significantly more wing area than the wings I designed.

Come to think of it BOBR2 of this site and Eddie Lozano of this site , their airplanes might be rated up in this area as well. Good luck getting one from them, their designs (AND BUILDS) are EXCELLENT!!
