Default 40 Gallon Week!

We would like to thank our good friends from Eastern Iowa for inviting us up for a week of jet flying. Perfect weather everyday and flawless operation of our 2 Jet Central Super Eagles (Elan and Bobcat) and Rhino (King Cat) made for a vacation to remember. We burned over 40 gallons of fuel and 10 gallons of smoke, flying every evening until dark.

The B-25 pictured was built by Jerry Wolf, this is his only his 2nd model! My friend Chris Kramer gets the honors of the sticks.

Thanks again guys for a great time!

Larry and Vern

I want to thank Larry & Vern for bringing the jets to Dyersville, Iowa. I'm one of the guys in the picture and I want to say this past week is one I won't forget. Every night Larry & Vern flew jets, with our club members putting prop planes up in between refueling the jets. Their was a large crowd out to see the jets every night and after flying till dark we would get something to eat and then fly foamies in the high school parking lot till 11:00. (I guess that's what you jet guys do at Winamac), what a blast.

Our Club had our annual RC show on the 10th of Aug., thanks to Larry & Verns jets we had 4 times as many spectators then other years, and what a show they put on. The people around here are still talking about it a week later.

Thanks Larry & Vern for a great week.

Bill

Larry and Vern,
Looks like you guys had a great time! I am jealous. I will try to burn at least 20 gallons at Heart of Ohio. See you soon.
