Lighted wing tip tanks
I'd love to put a set of these on my Wild Hornet. I saw a gentleman at Winimac last year with a set and it was the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I supose I could convert some but I have to believe these were production units. If anyone has any info, let me know.

Not sure what you mean. Do youmean the wing tip tanks with the landing lights in the tips? If so, a lot of those are the ones available from Dreamworks:

I put a set of those on my (recently departed [&o] ) Flash. I ordered the units that were the right diameter to fit in the tip of the tanks, cut off the ends of the tanks and mounted them in there, and then used the tips that I cut off to mold a set of clear lenses that went over them... Easy as pie...

Tyrone, there is also the german guys who make the units I believe who are very helpful. I recently installed wing tip, landing and strobe lights to a customers MB339 (there is a build thread here) and they are really very good. You can order plastic lenses for the lights in all sorts of shape and size as well.
