Hi all.
I did four good flights last weekend with three good takeoffs useing Toms advice whith throttle and canard /elevator from the begining.
I still dont use gyro because i will try to make it as good as posible with out before i use it.
We have also changed to pneumatic gears and doors and it works realy good. There is two 1/6 gripen flying in Sweden and soon there are three.
Regards
Niclas

My Feedback: (4)
Niclas, the kit looks great and will be even better after the resin is added.

My Airworld Gripen has had its mid-life update. iGyro 3e, lighter LiFe batteries, better ball links on main gear cylinders, lighter air bottles for gear door/brake/air brake -systems, better servos for canards etc. CG now at 215mm in front of wing tube. Flies quite nice. Still some Gripen hops unless really fast and careful with flight condition switch on take-off. Landings with 10-15mm canards up - slows down much better now, thanks to Jim for the tip!
12 flights last weekend, about 40 flights altogether now. iGyro 3e works really well. Could probably use even more aileron gain on landing/slow speed flight.
Bit over 7 minutes video edited from last weekend's flights. Some on calm weather and some with about 10-12 knots wind. Sorry about the wind noise, need better mic.

Very Nice! Looks like you are getting that dialed in. Curious why you switched from hydraulic gear to air? Any pictures of the gear with air cylinders?
Thanks Roy

Thanks Roy! And yes, I'm pretty confident flying my Gripen now. Actually still using the original hydraulic gear system. Just doors and brakes are operated with air, like previously. Sorry wasn't being specific on that. Gear cycle is still too slow! Even with ISO VG15 oil and 3s LiPo.
