Well, at the start of the week, we were looking absolutely terrible, but it looks like we may just make it.

All three local stations are agreeing (for once ) that the weekend will be salvageable. We will most likely get rain rain Fri. Sat. looks to be only in the A.M. if it comes and Sun is looking great. Mon. it looks like in the P.M. All in all, it looks like we will be fine. I know there was some concern early on, but I think they got it close. There is even a Very remote chance it could scoot more central and turn out better.

Let's hope for the best and see you there, "Rain or Shine"

Default It's a GO!

Bob, I just got off the phone with Frank, he said everything is a go. Navy access should be the same, just sign in at the Quarter Deck.

The weather as of now is looking to be just about what I posted earlier; Fri.=rain on & off with most in PM, Sat.= morning rain, moving out mid-day, Sun.= looks good, Mon. PM rain. Temps for the days= 70-75, nights= 60-63.

I'll keep an eye on the weather and report tomorrow morning.

Steve, No I didn't't get the facet done. We, Dr. Mark and I build together on Weds nights. He started a house project in the fall that got delayed in the middle of it because of the record snow we had and it needs to be finished this weekend for a family thing so we are a little behind on them. They will be done for Liberty Bell though. See you there.

Default UPDATE

Just checked the weather again. They are stickin' with their story. Looks like we will have clearing Sat. between 7-11. Fri.=Rain all day and night.

Will be a wet drive for most, but don't get discouraged, we should have some good flying coming up and if you can stay for Mon. (Memorial Day), we can get an extra day in

See you guys here.

Hey George,

Louie and I will be leaving Sat. morning. We're going to stop at the airport to fill up on Jet-A, and we should be there by about noon - going home Sunday night (the kids have school on Monday). See ya' tomorrow!

I have been watching your weather from here in Maidens, Va
That's west of Richmond about 35 miles. We were thinking of driving down to Fentress tomorrow. How long will you guys be flying. I'm from Portsmouth originally, and have flown many times at Fentress. Tom

Default Come on down!

Tom, come on down. We plan to fly as long as we can see. We're hoping to get a full day in tomorrow and Sun. The weather is starting to look better .
