When I select #84 Model Select it will only give me the option of copying the model already selected. I've tried CLR, turning it off, everything but to no avail. The transmitter will not allow me to select a different model. Any ideas?

Hey Dave,
Use the scrolling dial to highlight the actual model listed.
Go to (highlight) #84. Model SEL: Now push down on the scroll dial
Screen should read at top [84. Model Select]
Below there is Select/Copy, and below that is the actual model name.
Rotate the scroll dial to highlight the actual model. When you do this you will find the woird MODEL highlighted and then 4 BVM Kingcat (example of what ever you have named the file).
Push down on the scroll dial and you will find all 50 models available to select.
Scroll to find the one you want, push the scroll dial. Should say "data loading" and then that will be the new model up.

John,
Therein lies the problem. When I go to #84 the only option available is "COPY". "Select" is not available as a choice. No matter how I scroll SELECT will not highlight.

Hi John and David:
I think David needs one more step. When you turn it on and get to Menu #84, like John says, the #84 screen with Model Select is the default screen.
The next line is important. It reads Copy/Select and defaults to Copy every time you turn it on, which IMO is an error in the algorithm. It should default to Select to speed up the process of changing models.
To get to Select, scroll down to Copy and click....it should then flip over to Select being highlighted.
Then do the other steps like John outlined, i.e. scroll down to Model and click. It will then bring up all the models and select the one you want.
This had me baffled until after 1 hour of monkey punching, I finally figured it out.
The manual is a little obtuse in this area. If you still having problem, shoot me a PM with your phone # and I'll walk you thru it.
