150" wing span U2 flown by David Hudson. Not sure who owns it.
I'm glad you guys were able to make it. [8D]
Assume the P-70 ran alrigth?

Ran Perfect. I'm a lot happier than that pig they roasted!

Friday night at the field 24 large pizzas and 3 gallons of ice cream were consumed. When the ice cream was brought out, it was a feeding frenzy. Sparks were fllying off the plastic spoons.. Then there was a showing of the movie "Turner and Hooch" for some mindless entertainment.

I had a blast this year. Burned up about 15 gallons of kerosene, pushed the old Bobcat even closer to the 1000 flight mark (and almost to oblivion on Sunday), and got mixed reviews on my beautiful Bandit paintjob. LMAO

Larry and the HOTMAC club did an excellent job as usual.

Dear Larry. Thank you for all your help and hospitality over the weekend. Brady and I felt at home at this event and would be glad to recommend it for anyone who has never been. Great facility with lots of good food if your hunger drives you. We burned 9 gallons of kero on the FSone/AMT DV8R in 14 flights. Hope to see you again.

I've got to echo the above - man what a nice event! I had a ball. These guys do a wonderful job at a great field. Just awesome.

My only regret - I did not come with one of those foam t-28's to mix it up... God, that was hillarius! Fajitas were wonderful and you could not have ordered better weather from the man upstairs. Friday had some bad ju-ju, but Saturday was all love - I didn't see a single jet wreck. Can't say the same for those T-28's though! Ha!

Permanently on my calendar.

I forgot about the T28's. Man that was a blast flying all of them at one time with a mass takeoff. There were a couple of midairs and at least one was destroyed (Steven Ellzeys). He tried to fly in my airspace or was I flying in his airspace. Mine survived. Sorry about your little airplane Steven The spectators loved the T28's

Does anyone else have any pictures?

As far as Kevin Whitlows Bandit, I thought it looked better in person and some thought looked better in the pictures[8D].

Way to go Kevin, that's thinking outside the box.

As always, a great time... which is why it goes on my calander in ink as soon as I get next years canander (Of course I'm screwed to the wall if the folks at HOTMAC change the date! [X(]
Between Covish and the Austin gang, the Ft. Worth-ish group and the folks at HOTMAC, you can't ask for a greater group of organisers.

First time I've tried to upload photos....on top of a 13 hpour drive.....[&:]

OK, that worked. Weapons release on the Vulcan.

Yes, another all wood wonder. You can go to his web site www.uavde.com (I think) and see the photos of its construction. The first flight will hopefully be with in the next month.
