Default Build thread or Manual for FeiBao F-86 ?

Hello to all...:
I just purchased a Fei Bao F86. Should be receiving it in a couple of weeks. Is there a build thread with photos on this Plane from FB??? Or any Instruction Manual??'
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Get all the elevator that you can, CG is 1" forward from center of the strut.

If you've built a jet before, this is not a bad build at all, I did mine in about 3 or 4 days as I recall. No instructions other than what I've just said here.

the speed brakes were the most challenging part of the build, and getting the outer gear doors to open with the gear was a little work. when I first looked at the insides of the jet it appeared to have a ton of room, that was until I put the intake duct in there, bye bye room. finished weight without fuel is about 24.5 pounds. power is a P-70, someone else fairly local has one with the same power and says it flies just fine. isn't 24,5 puond too much for a P70 ? Do you takeoff on grass field? Thanks

Default RE: Build thread or Manual for FeiBao F-86 ?

I have been waiting for some one to help me...!!!!!!!
I have a couple of questions....
1) Because I have been waiting on an answer from Wagner now for 2 weeks on where do the elevator servos go installed, and NO answer or help was received, I proceeded and installed the DS168 Thin wing JR sevos inside the elevator... I mean.. the elevators did not came with any space or holes or marks on where do I was supposed to install the elevator servos....Did I do ok?? Or is there other way??
2) Is the CG of the plane 310mm from root leading edge??? Seems to far back to me...???
3)Can I leave the turbine installed WITHOUT installing the TOP black FRP cover supplied with the plane???
4) Servo travel on the Flaps and elevator throws???
5)Air Brakes...: Do I install a separate valve to them and operate them on a separate switch... or how do I proceed??? Do they go with the flaps on the same switch??? WHEN DO I OPERATE THEM???? (During landing aproach..or only as show off on runway??? IT IS THE FIRST TIME I BUILD AND OWN A PLANE WITH AIR BRAKES....
6) On the TURBINE exhaust.... should I leave any space between turbine exhaust and FRP black bottom cone/cover that came with the plane???? A photo will definetly help me.
7) Any tendencies or important info. I need to know before flying it???
Just in case my e-mail is: [email protected]

What scale bird did FeiBao used for their molds? The nose intake looks different than the ones I have seen. It looks more like a triangle. Maybe its just the angle of the picture. Does it look more rounded standing right in front of it?
