Default Best flying semi scale plane

Aside from the twin tail Bobcat or Boomerang style planes , which 13lb to 18 lb thrust semi or sport scale plane would you suggest? Our field has 300ft of paved runway with no obstructions on either end but we do have a 95db noise limit. I consider myself an average flyer but my skills are improving with every flight. I have looked at the Turbinator and others like it but would still like a more traditional looking airplane. I can't say I have any favorite jet planes. From Korean War era to modern day I like them all.

Thanks

With the thrust size and runway lenght you mentioned, I would say some good choices might be:

Sport ... Reaction 54 (kit or Arf)

Semi-Scale .... Tams Jets F-16 (1/8 scale)

Scale ... PST F9F Panther ARF

With a semi scale you can enter it and fly at the war meets, you can't do that with a sport so, something to concider on your next choice.

Having built and flown both the Reaction 54 and Turbinator; I can say that a Reaction 54 is eaiser to build but both fly well and will work with the size runway you are looikg to fly from. Our club field runway is less than 300 feet and I can takeoff in less than half of it with either plane. I prefer my Turbinator on looks alone and got many positive coments on how it looks like a Banshee when I have flown it.
