About 2 years or so ago a gentleman from the Eastern Colorado plains ( don't remember the town name for sure) had a BVM Balsa Bandit glow DF model listed for sale on RCU. I don't recall the colors but I remember it appeared to be very well built and painted. Would like to find out what became of the airframe as I am looking for possible EDF powered models.
Does anybody know the name and location of this guy or who has the airplane ?
Thanks

Take a look in the BVM website under "Event Photos/Best In The West 1999" and see if it could be Dan McClure or George "Doc" Jones that you are looking for.
They both flew ducted fan Bandits at that meet.
There are many photos in the Event photos section that might contain a picture of your lost modeller.
It is a good on-line resource.

I know its not Doc Jones, pretty sure its not Dan either. thanks for the suggestions. This airplane was a balsa bandit and I think it was red and yellow and black but I could be totally mistaken about that. I'm not at all sure but I dont think it had been flown or maybe a very few flights. I need somebody in the Denver area to see this and know who he is most likely.

I knpw the plane you are referring to, and the man, but am unable to recall his name. I am certain that Dean Lassek will be able to supply his name and possible disposition of that airplane. I moved from Colorado just prior to seeing that jet listed for sale. Best of luck, (pm Dean, A10flyer).

I recall that at the time it was listed, it was new and unflown. It was a ducted fan, Bandit and if not mistaken major colors were white and blue. I seem to recall that it may have been built and sold by Ed Munoz. I am unsure of the fan and engine combination. Again, Dean is going to be your best shot on this one.
