Default Turbo prop help

Guys I am out at bomber Field trying to asist someone with a JetCat hpt-5. When we turn it on the green OK light just blinks. The egt is showing 21 c and reacts to a lighter being held to it. I have checked the fuel pump and solenoid along with the propane one as well. When we try to start the unit it spins up, then fails with a low temp but never even lights on propane. If anyone has any ideas please reply or call me on my cell phone. 7133043818.
Thanks

Default RE: Turbo prop help

I can't say thank you enough to the guys that called. The WREN USA REP called ( Ron Ballard i believe ) to help. I really do appreciate the effort to help from the jet community. I apologize for the poor description of the problem but I was typing that message from a Blackberry cell phone that does not have a full keyboard. Can be tedious.

I would like to show others who may read this thread how much we help each other out. I have been working 14-20 hr days for my job since hurricane IKE come through houston on friday the 12th. I was scheduled to be off work the 18th through the 22nd to attend the bomber field event. Unfortunately the company that I work for still does not have power at our office. I work for an energy trading firm. Us being without power is a very very bad situation. Anyways we relocated to a hotel in a conference room and we are making do from there. So, I got Saturday off from my boss so that i could go enjoy a day a bomber and get a few flights in. Instead of going there and flying all day, I spent the majority of the day (8am-3pm) working on this tucano trying to figure out why it was acting so stupid. I got to a point to where I put a post on RCU asking for anyone to assist me with any ideas. I believe I had 3 people call. ( I missed one phone call) After Barry maidened the Tucano, i got my first flight on my f-15 for the day. I was just happy to be able to help George get his turbo prob running and be at the field with my mind not on work for a lil while.

Thanks again
Sean Rushing
