Default Problems setting up wren 44 ECU

Ok guys i give in. Ive followed the manual to the T trying to teach my radio to the ECU
After all the steps are completed ive still got a red light on the data terminal, Should switch to green when completed.
Can anyone help me with this?, Id really like to get her setup over the weekend.

By the way this is an OLD O/B start engine. Shrink wrapped data terminal instead of the newer plastic cased one.

I know it sounds silly...but make sure your receiver plug and battery plug are connected correctly...

They can be switched....

Ok now i seem to have a different set of problems LOL. All cables connected correctly.
power everything up (all batteries have a good charge).....green light on ECU flickers and red light on data terminal flickers...No display on data terminal at all[]

Update: Loss of power and D/T display seems to be intermittent. Now all up and running fine but still wont recognise the learn radio procedure. There should be a smiley for pulling hair out

Still sounds like the receiver "in" 3 pin servo type cable is backwards at the ECU..

Adam,

If it's an old engine I'm not sure which version of the setup instructions you will have so I've just emailed you a copy.
