Hello:
Would like to know your opinion and comments if a JR DS168 will work on the elevators of an F86 from Fei Bao???? Plane will weight 24 pounds. I will be installing a 23 Lbs. thrust turbine...
It is just that those servos will fit perfectly... but I have my doubts in regards to torque... Any technical advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

I have 9411's in my f-86, I used them because of there low profile to give more clearance from the pipe. they are 95 oz at 6 volts. I think they are more than adequate as the elevators are very small and it has a long tail moment. Kevin

Even if the torque seems to be enough for the application the problem with the thin wing servos is the small gear train is prone to stripping, I would not recommend this servo for an elevator application on this size of jet.
