Default Rabbit vs BVM header tank ?

Hello, is the BVM Festo connector is compatible with the rabbit default tubing size ? Or do I need some adaptor ?

Thanks,
Robin

You will need an adapter 6mm to 4mm

If you are connecting the 6MM from the UAT to the pump, just put a small piece ( 1/4" or 1 cm, just the length of the nipple) of the smaller 4mm line over the fuel pump inlet nipple. Then just slide the 6mm tubing over the 4mm tubing you just placed on the nipple. Secure with wire tie but not necessary.
Been fine for several installations. Festos should not be used on the suction side of the pump.

The BVM UAT has a nipple with a retaining nut and is not a Festo push in style.

You can use 6mm Festo tubing from the UAT to the pump. The pump comes with a small portion of 4mm tubing. Just cut the 4mm tubing about 1/8" longer thant the end of the nipple and leave it there, then push your 6mm tubing over it and safety wire it. This was a tip from Eric. I thought this was a bit odd at first but works very well with no adapter.

Or you can use a 6mm to 4 mm adapter between the UAT and the pump.

You will need to buy 6mm tubing. Use a soldering iron to burn the tubing to remove all tubing from nipples. Stretch the tubing with needle nose pliers to put it on.
