Why was my thread about why was the Space Shuttle thread nuked locked?
What is going on here at R/C U? This used to be a GREAT place for the jet guys to trade info. Why is it being eroded like this???

(ok...thats a lie [:@])
Mods are right... it was not Jet related and they had every right to can it. No beef from me...

You earned my respect again. If you, the thread originator understood the reason behind your thread removal and do not have objections to it then I hope the rest of the nattering nabobs of negativisms would now let this one go.
Now the question is…which one of you vocal ones would like to volunteer to become the new Jet Forum moderator? Time to put up or forever keep your peace.

There are rules in place and I broke one.... it's that simple. If my son breaks the rules in my house, he gets a time-out

Line needs to be drawn somewhere to keep things in order, dont blame the mods for doing their job.

The main Shuttle engines are most definitely turbomachinery .... all the HPOTP, LPOTP, HPFTP, LPFTP are turbines. Ever hear SSMEs wind up at ignition?

Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing but DOES NOT APPLY HERE! This is a privately owned forum and the owners have every right to decide what can and can not be discussed in THEIR forums; after all this is their house, we are mere guests.

UncleJoe........FYI.....I had bad intel from a couple FRIENDS I trusted were telling me the truth and thus the long DELAY for me to figure things out on my own, all is clear now from me as I NEVER cross my true friends and ALWAYS RESPECT MY ELDERS! Now I'm going to go to the base with Grandpa and have a shot or two of tequila, then get back to making picture frames of the days before the fog set in, which always has a way of delaying departures and launches from time to time until the winds pick up and blow it all away. I'll tell grandpa you say hello and have a good day SIR.

And now back to our regularly scheduled program folks, Jets and the kids that grow up to be like their parents..........

1) A input field that rate the "value" of a post: If a post or a thread is considered insulting, irrelevant, idiotic,etc.. would be automatically deleted by reaching about, let´s say 20 negative reviews.. the good ones, with information, interesting pics or stories can be rated as well, and sorted so we can skip the bad ones and go for the best threads and posts quickly.
2) Like cited before, as people here knowns each other very well, a "anything goes" subforum could be created to discuss anything that is not directly related to r/c jets, so we can unclutter the technical area of the forum with the personal communication area.. again any post that contains too much chatter in the "serious" one wouldn´t be erased but transfered and rated to this subforum again by the users, but not for any moderator.
IMO The important thing is to relieve the burden of all this decisions to a single individual, as he can and will make mistakes.. let this questions be resolved by the majority of the users instead.
