Its been a while, but about 1/4 inch will get you in the ballpark.

Hi Steve

You can start with 3mm(1/8 inch) up to 6mm(1/4) depending on you CG. If your CG is right it will be pretty light on the nose wheel. The Roo does not run as much reflex as the Hotspot.

My Roo is 5 years old now and still going strong! Doing 300 km/h on a Wren Supersport.

Enjoy this wonderful little jet.

Thanks Jet Doctor. So if it is light on the nose am I correct in assuming it will take less reflex?

Checked mine...a little bit on the nose heavy side. But will sit on it's mains nose high off the nose wheel with an empty tank. I have 1/8 inch reflex. Hope this helps

Hi Steve

Your assumption is right. That is why I recommend 3mm to start with. If you need more than that, you can trim it up during flight. If you have to much reflex on the first flight, it could surprise you with a shuttle take off which is not really what you want on a maiden. Personally I would much rather hold in some up that to continually push down until you can get hold of the trim.

Good luck.

Zane
