Default Travis AFB air show pics

Someone forwarded me this link. I don't know the photographer but I really enjoyed these pictures.

Arnaud,

Thanks for posting these. Just to cool. Wish I knew what camera was used. We do a similar show like this at Andrews AFB every year.

Thanks again. Hooker53

Has there ever been a more beautiful plane ever than an F-16 in T Bird colors?

BTW, I assumed that Travis being that close to SF Bay would be a whole lot "greener". It looks almost dessert like.

Wonderful shooting. Love the A-10 photos, our son-en-law is a A-10 squadron command in Koera at the DMZ. Thanks!

At the top of the page he notes:

Used a Nikon D200 and D50 w/ a 70-300mm VR lens, and 18-55mm lens. Prop planes shot in shutter priority exposure mode (mostly between 1/160 and 1/320sec), with continuous autofocus. The jet shots were around 1/1000sec. Hope you enjoy the show!

Nah, it doesn't rain at all in the summer....for like 4 or 5 months. Its always very brown, but very green in the winter....the opposite of most other places.
