Default New Jet Model Products T-33

My new T-33 finally made it's first trip to the airport on Sunday. Did lots of testing, engine running, range testing, brake testing, etc. All went well and it should see its first flight soon.

Check my gallery for photos of the T-33. I couldn't figure out how to attach photos to posts in the forum.

Default Very Nice!!

I like that paint scheme. If I ever get one I'll do the same paint job.

Thanks. I first saw that paint scheme on Tom Cook's T=33 at Superman 1998 and thought it looked cool. Joe Rafalowski did really well with those colors and markings as well at Top Gun recently.

Default Texan's ANG T-33

There's a real one just like it mounted on a pole at Ellington Field, a couple of miles from my house. Same paint job. I've done several Miller F-4s in their paint scheme (see my gallery).

There doesn't seem to be many color photos of T-33s in this scheme. I basically copied Joe's color scheme from photos of his model using the graphics packge from Promark. Had to guess at the right shade of gray.

Thanks Ben.

I was wondering how these were magically appearing!

Will you be going to Tennessee Jets next week?

I might be able to swing it but I am not too sure. I will be attending AMA Home coming / bicentennials of flight celebration at the AMA HQ this weekend.

I saw a pic of an F-16 with that motif on the tail. It looked too sweet. My new Yellow F-16 is gonna have that scheme. Nice bird.

Well, this is the one I am taking to Tennessee jets but I am waiting for the weather to cooperate for a first flight before we get there.
