GO FLY!!!!!!!! Not to be out done by Mother Nature, I adapted to my current flying field conditions.

In Canada, our rules state if the jet can demonstrate that it will stay still while at idle on a hard surface, it is OK. Mine does.

I'd like to do the same on my DV8R.... Too bad I've got 3' of powder on the strip lol. That would require some pretty big skis : )

Here you go. The skis are simple to make. I used 1/16 lexan (3" x 14" ) for the base and 1/4" thick for the upright. Drill a hole for the axle to go through and drill another hole to put a stopper (bolt). Then use two elastics to pull the ski up. It should only lift a small amount to ensure the tip does not dig in. All three skis are the same.
