I am no sure that would have been the video I would have shown with that kind of landing. We can't see the outcome of the jet on that landing. Did the Plane survive?, and is the backup plane ready?

Up to that landing I was very impressed and hope that the flight would put to rest all on here concerns about CG change with the wing movement.

Keep up the the fantastic work, you guys are way ahead in the race for a TomCat to make it to the market place.

It survived.....

the pilot use the other side of the street for landing.
this was the second flight and first time used the swing wings.
there will be more videós available in the next few days.

only reason why we post this video is that we dont want to let
you wait any longer. Pls stay tuned for a better video very soon.

After watching video again, I too must say it looked like the plane did survived the landing.

No sound of crash or smoke or panic the the people standing by ,,tell the pilot GOOD JOB!

Please keep us informed of the progress, even if we are not worth it.

the story of fly eagle had started well… I was one of their first customer!
But they do not learn any lesson from their last errors . They leave much new models, too quickly, manufacture doesn't follow, the delivery are too long and especially, that misses flight test. There is too many small design and manufacture defects which arrive until the series models.
I'm disappointed because I relied on them (I have 3 jet fly eagle) => I hope they will change these, and learn about their mistake (technical and marketing mystake...).

They have the best quality/ price ratio, but it's important that they make the test flight completly before to sell their plane.
For experiment customer no problem, there is some little thing to improve and after, it's happiness.

Regards,

Sébastien

Flight looks good.. Appears the plane has a CG slightly to far aft though. And is it just me or did the wings appear to develop a dihedral after the flight? IDK.. might just be a bit of aerodynamic flexing making it appear that way..

Whats the all up weight of the F-14 with and w/o fuel? And what engines were used in the video?

I'm tempted to sell my bandit now to buy one of these.. anyone interested? lol

Great video.

Just needs some CG and control throw twaeks....maybe some carbon in the wings on the next batch to stiffen them up
But it could also be the view angle that makes dem look a little dihedral....

Now this makes me very happy. Slim the intakes to correct scale on bottom also. Are you implying the external tanks can be used to fuel the turbines?? Love the slats and spoilers as options.

Saw the vid, love the jet. Thanks for working so hard to get this dream machine out to us.

The CG was to aft or the elevator throws seemed too much for landing with the wings out. Maybe the pilot was just nervous, but it did rotate with authority and seemed "twitchy" on approach.

ALSO TAKE NOTE in the vid when the wings sweep how the jet looses altitude. This has been my experience with the Foamie swept wings that I've flown. Sweep the wings and then you're wishing you had more elevator authority. They become nose heavy, turn into DELTA wing aircraft needing TONS of elevator and VERY LITTLE aileron/tailerons with the wings swept.

Can't wait to play with one.

Adil,
From what I understand it is currently being test flown extensively to make sure there are no bugs when it is finally available to be sold to everyone. Glad to see they are testing it a bunch, a complex bird like this needs to be sure

Heavy Metal for sure... Personally I would like an every day flier rendition that is easy to maintain, WORKS!, and Fly's well. But also looks good as apposed to Ultra High Maintenance.
