Hello All,
just wanted to know if anyone can or has ever increased the thrust on a RAM 500. One would guess by turning up the RPM you could get some what of a small increase? Just thought I would put this out there.
thanks,
Perry

With a little inside information I am pretty sure the max RPM can be set to 160k with the RAM ecu, there is NO need to get a new RPM sensor and a diffent ECU. I doubt however that this would net you anything over 13 lbs thrust at the most. I raised my MAX RPM to 155k ( they came set orignally at 150K) and got approx 1/2-3/4 lb thrust increase. Carlos once told me he had a RAM 500 of his that he was getting close to 16lbs thrust, not sure what all he did to soup it up. He also told me it gave him nothing but troubles and couldnt keep it toghter at that thrust.

i just had my 3 Ram500 in the service of uk-präzitec and he told me that 160k are ok for that engine. i had so by 30min runtime each and can say - no problems so far. the thrust now is between 6,4- 6,7 kilogramm. ecu and sensors are change to projet- hornet2 !!!

You can replace the RPM sensor and ECU with a Gaspar (Wren 54) type. This will increase the RPM to 160K. At that RPM you can get about 13-14 pounds of thrust. The 500s were a WREN 54 derivitive and the wheel was made by Wren. Scott

Guys,
Can anyone explain how to up the RPM from 150K to 160K with the stock RAM 500 CO3 ECU ?
