HI all, need to make a farely light travel case for my bobcat, 55'x24'x 12'/ 1/4' ply. since I am no wood worker expert, I have to come up with a good way to open up on one of the 24'x55' sides and still be strong and lock together on the joint. one side would have a piano hinge, and the other, some kind of slash lock.
Any help would be appreciated.

Any reason not to use the BVM one? I traveled with my bobcat in one and it worked flawlessly.

I went through that exercise in Phoenix at midnight once and still had to FedEx it home after I opened it. I should have just told them I had no means to open it.

Ahh, when I did it, I took an electric screwdriver with me. I can see how that would be a problem.
