Default Toki .18 - Pull Start Replacement ?

Wondering if a new (from Toki or aftermarket) pull start mechanism can be obtained for the Toki .18. I may be able to fix the one in my A7 (its not retracting fully), but would also like to have a spare handy. Thanks. Bob

Contact Altech Marketing (main importer) and see if they are carrying replacement parts yet. The last I heard, they were not, but that was a couple of months ago.

Default toki 18 pull start

Tower Hobbies sells the Hot Bodies .18 car engine with pull start. My guess is that the pull start is the same as the aircraft engine, so Tower probably has it in stock.

Default Toki .18 - Pull Start Replacement ?

I have been running 30 % Heli Fuel with the OS # 8 Glow Plug (I asked this question earlier and that is what people recommended). It has been running great. I sort of abused the pull starter (on my first engine starts) because the engine kept flooding. My stupid mistake ...... I should have realized that the tank on the A7 is much higher than the carburetor. Now I keep the fuel line pinched with a Hemostat (until ready to start). It starts now very easily after a few pulls. Bob
