Bandit Owners
I admit I am behind the times as far as batteries go. I am somewhat close to the finish of my Bandit Arf and am wondering what most owners are using for batteries and chargers. I see BVM recommends the Duralite setup with a regulator. In my Bobcat I ran two Nicads through two switches for redundancy which worked well but seems a little outdated. I appreciate any help.
Thanks
Scott

RE: Bandit Owners
If weight is not a big issue for you, use the two nicads. If weight is an issue, two lipos thru a dual smart fly regulator. I have used both to great success in Bandits...The dual systems saved my Original Bandit once when one battery died after take off!!!

RE: Bandit Owners
I am using two Flightpower 3000mah 2S2P lipo's running through a Powerbox Gemini, the lipos are under the inlets and the CG has worked out very nicely. This is a bit overkill i know but i was trying to build in as much redundancy as possible in limited space, i am going to fit the same to my Bobcat.

RE: Bandit Owners
I recommend the 4000 mah Lipo and regulator from JR. Use the y harness to plug into the two batt ports on the 921 or 1221 receiver.
The batt is a redundant pack.
here are the part web pages.

Simple, reliable, cost effective!!!

RE: Bandit Owners
Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it. Dustin I still remember you flying the Aggresor and Interceptor at Rice Lake. That was a while ago! Thanks for the help.

I've used the same set up in my badit ARF and composite super bandit - 2 x 2100 2 cell Thunder power lipos, running through a powerbox sensor switch. The powerbox switch has dual regulators, so you have total redundancy for regulator or battery failure. Really simple to use as well.

RE: Bandit Owners
I run two Fromeco 2600 Lion through two regs. Don't have to be concerned with a LiPo going BOOM!!! Fly all day long on this set up. Fromeco ion cube for the charger.
