Default New pricing at Jetcat Germany

As Ali said in a previous post, most of the Jetcat range has gone through a new pricing.
This is an average 15% reduction from previous prices, applicable from the first of March.

"Ehr geehrte Kunden, wir haben für Sie die Preise einiger Strahlturbinen angepasst. Folgende Preise sind ab dem 01.03.09 gültig:

P60 SE bisheriger Preis: 2320,50 Euro inkl. 19% Mwst. neuer Preis: 1995,- Euro inkl. 19% Mwst.
P70 bisheriger Preis: 2152,70 Euro inkl. 19% Mwst. neuer Preis: 2095,- Euro inkl. 19% Mwst.
P80 bisheriger Preis: 2050,70 Euro inkl. 19% Mwst. neuer Preis: 1890,- Euro inkl. 19% Mwst.
P120 SX bisheriger Preis: 2981,- Euro inkl. 19% Mwst. neuer Preis: 2790,- Euro inkl. 19% Mwst.
P160 SX bisheriger Preis: 3799,- Euro inkl. 19% Mwst. neuer Preis: 3295,- Euro inkl. 19% Mwst. "

As a matter of fact the prices have been made available on the German web site for a good week.

http://www.jetcat.de/jetcatturbinen/strahlturbinen.htm

Also note that the P-200 and P-180 prices remain unchanged.

Enjoy...

As I am sure you are aware these price decreases are only in Euros! They translate into substantial increases when converted into £ sterling at the current exchange rate. For example the P80 is 1890 Euros which would be £1,750 for a current exchange rate of £1.08 Euros to the £, last year you could buy a P80 in the uk for around £1,400.

Of course if you are buying in Euros or Dollars a Wren is very cheap looking compared to a Jetcat!

P160sx is reduced $500 direct from JetCat or from Tam. Exchange rate or competition? No idea.

Even the reduced price of a Jetcat P160 at £3,050 does not come close to a Wren 160 at £2,155. I have no doubt the builders at Wren are very busy.

i've been told by Bob that the -70 will not see an SE version due to physics with its size, but they may come up with something for it since it will be the only one.. maybe the internal solenoid changes the sx rec'd or something.

How much Jim!!
I have just worked out my prices and even with the dire Euro rate today ( nearly 1-1 ) the difference between a 160 sx and a wren in not that much!
Oh how I miss those days of 1.4-1 euro to pound exchange rates []
Did Sandor sort out your oleo spare that you needed?
Regards Al

Hi Ali. Going on the price quoted above ie. 3,295 Euros, does this not come out to £3,050 at an exchange rate of 1.08 to the Pound?

Yes. Managed to order a set of oleos from Sandor.

Regards
Jim

Trust a Scotsman to have the calculator ready! Your arithmetic is correct, I suspect that Ali means he will be offering some sort of discount on the list price. I am not here to advertise for him but I did see he was offering the white Comp.arf Flash with Behotec gear at £1600. On the Comp.arf website that combo is 2000 Euros or £1,850 in the money we have to pay.

Business is tough at the moment and my clients are not slow to ask for a discount! But as they say 90% of £2000 is better than 100% of B*^$*r all.

All this talk of high percentage discounts has me considering another Boomerang Sprint complete with landing gear package. Hint, hint.
I have a Jetcat p70 looking for a home.

Edit:- Or a Rookie 2.

Guys

The VAT in Germany is 19% and UK 15% so there is another 4% there...then there is the different business plans some people have.

Price is not everything and although there are quite a few turbines sold at a lower price than JetCat they still out sell everyone...and will continue to.

that is pretty normal

all dealers in the swiss and austria and even germany (and me) sell for lower then offical prices stated at jetcat germany..
so this is pretty normal..

and same as ali does , if we sell combo,s we can make less profit but sell 3 items at a time.
it is just where you do your shopping

Hi Sandor, I have the odd landing that is not exactly perfect, so I am sure a complete set of oleos will be needed for spares at some point.

Thanks
