I recently posted for pilot help. I just wanted to take a minute to thank all those that responded. Goodness! Had folks willing to travel from afar! Everything is now under control. Took the A-10 to Scobee for the Jet Rally (thanks Ray!) last week to meet Phill, who will be flying it at the Air Force show, and Ron, who did the weight waiver for me. I need to really thank Ron for staying late to take care of me. He did a great job with the inspection, suggestions, and greatly appreciated advice. BY THE WAY, FOR THOSE THAT MIGHT BE INTERESTED, the weight waiver calls for 3000ma batteries for the system. I allready have my new ones. Phill came in from LA and was great with the test flights. Took a video and sent a copy to the full scale hog drivers and they went nuts! Oh, if someone can tell me in plane(get it?) and non-geek language how to post that thing (the video), I'll be glad to put it on the net for you. Now, not a pro vid, 100mph winds, but you can get the idea. Anyway, thanks Ron and Phill, I really appreciate your interest and help. I have to tell you folks, the time and attention from these two gentlemen made the headaches go away quickly. I have a neat thing planned to do with the full scale A-10's at the Air Force show, with a pro vid maker (hopefully), so I should something really cool to show you from that! Thanks again everyone for your help! And Barry, I know you will get another Panther, so be patient!
