Hey Guys -
Thought someone might be interested in a couple of building modifications I incorporated into the build for my Recation ARF .
Thought I might want to get into the cockpit at some later time for some reason, so mounted the canopy using #2 phillips panhead sheet metal screws. Spaced them 1" apart. When I got to the wing-to-fuselage fairings, decided to use the same mounting method. Found this to be much faster and easier than trying to glue the fairings into place (Looks pretty neat too, at least to me). Attachment is at least as strong as glueing.
Below are a few pics to give you an idea of how the screws look. By the way, I got them from Micro Fasteners.
