US MicroJet LLC has just put some meat on their web site: [link]http://www.usmicrojet.com/#[/link]
It's looking good for the only American made turbine as a Division of GTC:

Their ECU is designed and made by another American
company: [link]http://www.electrodynam.com/[/link]

Yea Steve I could not find any prices except for upgrades, etc.
I did note a that the Price List stipulates a "Quote".
Maybe this post will prompt further explanation?

I called the guys at US Microjet about the three AT-180's I have. I talked to the tech (wish I could remember his name) and he was very helpful and took his time with my questions. I also ordered two replacement temperature probes to replace the ones I have that don't work.
Overall it seemed like a smooth running operation to me...

Prices seem quite high if you ask me. Take their 180, puts out 20 lbs of thrust, well JetCats new P-80Se puts out 20 lbs and is $2195!!!! They need to re-assess their pricing model if you ask me, unless they have something serious to offer the consumer worth $1400?
Prices right here:

Well I did a Saturday and Sunday unsolicited test with USM by sending several separate Emails with different observations regarding their Web Site. My inquires where make from their web site links as well as to specific individuals. I was very pleasantly surprised when I had responses by noon on Monday.

That might have been me you talked to rhklenke, the conversation seems familiar but not certain. But i hope i helped if it was me :-) Seems funny to me how i have worked at AMT-USA/US Micro Jet longer than ANYONE in the history of the company and i rarely get noticed. I always try to build the best product i can for people, people most the time i have never met. For those of you that i have met in person and on the phone i want to thank you for your support and I'm looking forward to a great flying season this year.

Well results are obviously preliminary, but here are some test results from yesterday...
Idle 40k ~ 520*c @ 1.1LB thrust
65k ~ 479*c @ 4.5LB thrust
92k ~ 451*c @ 12.5LB thrust
110k ~ 460*c @ 23.5LB thrust
117k ~ 497*c @ 27.75LB thrust
So far everything seems to be going very well ~ With the lower EGT temps the hot zone parts will encounter less erosion and last much longer with less fatigue or warping.
If everything keeps on target and demand is there, the owners will consider building and selling these to the public...So if you are interested, give them a call and inquire.
Short of building more i have accomplished what i had set out to do...Build the last 28 LB turbine you may ever need.

Well have just received a pair of USMicroJets 3rd Generation ECU’s for my pair of 180s that Jimbo has installed in our G4 A-10 Hog. Just ordered them last week after having use one of them week before last with Jimbo’s 180. Hum, not sure how to identify these AMTs that we have been using since 1998 & 1999….what USM-180s? Anyway finally service & delivery as promised with new harness and pumps that are maybe 1/3 of the old size weighting 3oz compared to 7-½ oz. These ECUs are interchangeable between all sizes of their turbines. So should you decide to switch a 3G ECU say from your 280 to a 450 just return it to the factory for quick reprogram. Will begin testing in our A-10 and advise.
