Default EvoJet BOOSTER 90

This one looks like a nice competitor to the Rabbit and Merlin 90.
Kero start, and 9kg/ 20lbs of thrust, same small size as the others....

Anyone have on yet ?

Hmmm....not really, only the dia is similar, max power rpm would need to drop to 152k and increase by another 1kg, also idle would need to drop by 8k.

Are the EvoJets a licensed copy of the G-Boosters or just G's rebadged? The Evo's are much cheaper but they look to be almost identical engines.

I have a G-Booster, but I don't think I've heard about the Evos before, anyone running them?

I believe these come from the same factory designed by the same team. A certain amount of politics has led to this line of engines now coming direct from the factory!

I believe these engines to be the official incarnation of some talked about shiny case Boosters. Although not sure if there will be a 160 yet.

Hello,

EvoJet and G-Booster are from the same factory. Different commercial distribution.

The new evoJet includes a new quickest kerostart procedure with single fuel line (only one valve and fuel line for easier installation).

I have a brand new evoJet 160 on the test bench for two weeks, and it's running perfectly. Flying tests soon on my new ViperJet...

Stéphane

The pricing is interesting...

G-booster 90 - US$2,318
G-booster 130 - US$2,978
G-booster 160 - US$ 3,445

Has anyone used them? They look amazingly similar to the Graupner...
