Have a friend in Key West, island off the bottom of Florida, Where is the closest jet flying done ??? How many miles/ time to drive there ???

When are you going to Florida?? There is a field west of Ft. Lauderdale that I can highly recommend in Markham Park for flying jets as well as electrics or gas. Entry is free. Make sure you have a membership card for AMA or other similar model aircraft insurance.

A good friend of mine flies there regularly named Joel Cimmino. There are plenty of helpful people to assist you as well.

Markham park is a 3 and 1/2 hr drive from key west. There is a closer field called Makos in Homestead. Still about a 2 and a half hr ride. Mike

We fly there anything from tiny</span></span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);"><span style="font-size: medium;">, small to </span></span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);"><span style="font-size: medium;">biggest scale and even full scale aircraft(experimental) at times, awesome place to fly, with plenty of space to have fun, our runways are 545ft and 515ft as you can see our pic, we have videos and pictures grab a soda and popcorn and enjoy!!!!
