I am looking at a built up wing BVM Mig 15 kit that is currently in the classifieds.

I know that the kits have been updated through the years but is there anything that I need to know about if buying an older kit? Will anything need to be replaced or are they good as they are?

I built one for Ali a few years back, loads of work but seemed good once done. I have loads of pics of the build, which is here on the forum somewhere as well, need to reinforce the landing gear area which I did with some carbon/kevlar cloth and a little bit of added support at the trailing edge by the wing root where the flap sits.

Does anyone have any info on the new all-composite Mig 15 or who I might be able to ask the questions?

I'm mainly interested in anticipated release date and cost.

I have been trying to find out the same thing, seems less likely since the Skymaster deal, but anything is possible.
