Default Connecting Rod Replacing

I was wondering how often should the con rod be replaced in a ducted fan engine?
After every 100 flights, 150 flights ect ?
What are your thoughts.
Thanks for your info,
Roger

Which engine?

I never had to replace one in a OS.91VRDF. I've seen a few let go in OS.77VRDFs.

When it breaks..... replaced a few of them but only after I tried to get more out of the engine than it could give out. If you do break one go ahead and replae the piston and sleeve too.

I guess if you were to put alot of run time on a engine and wore out the piston and sleeve, that would be a good time to replace the rod and bearings also.
