Bob,

There is a thread that was started on 1/16/09 entitled "Skymaster F-4E Phantom." I'm not exactly sure how many pages you may have to scroll through to get to it, but it might just have the information you are seeking. Idid assemble the 1/7 scale SM F-4 last year, but have yet to fly it. Iwould have to say the assemly was pretty simple. In my opinion, the only thing that might present somewhat of an issue will be getting the gear doors working properly, but even that shouldn't be that much of a problem. From what I have seen and read, the plane really flies well and has great presence in the air. So I'm really looking forward to either getting mine airborneor selling it and watching someone else fly it.

You can also go to the JPO website www.jetpilots.org and go to members and then knowledge bank. There is a build thread there.

Bob,
Ihave built mine and have been flying it successfully since January of this year. Ihave around 60 flights on my Blue Angel F-4 and just love it, if you have any questions about the kit or how it fly's I would be more then happy to answer them. I echo David Jackson's comments about the assembly, it was very simple and straight forward. It fly's like a dream, and I can't really say enough good things about this plane.
Good luck,
Dave

insert tab A into slot B amigo. pretty simple build overall.

i added CF to the landing gear structure, kevlar and CF throughout the fuselage and mounted the rudder servo upright in the top of the fuse beneath the vertical fin. otherwise very straight forward construction.

good luck. you'll love the way she burns dinosaurs
