Default Replacment retract trunion

This was my first attemp at machining a replacement retract trunion for a friend of mine so I thought I post it here, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Nice work Wayne! If you machine a radius on the inside of the fingers instead of square corners, the fingers will be stronger

Thanks guys, I had originally made theinside of the forks with a radius but the fit was to tight so I enlarged the opening; making them like the original part was the easiest fix, if I make any more they will have a radius.

Hey Wayne, looks great. Can you make any of the other parts? (like the cross link that attaches to the ram)

Thanks,

Hi Todd,

Interesting to note that you have plenty have time to comment on trunions on RCU but you apparently are too busy to respond to my numerous emails about the undersized Siera trunion that you sent me last year!!

I guess when your customers are as far away as we are in Australia it is not worth you addressing their concerns as the freight costs would be prohibitively high for you to bother. Better to close your eyes and hope the guy goes away right?? WRONG!

Kindest regards,

One very dissatisfied customer.

Wayne,

Very nice work! Todd is absolutely right about the radius. It's just his customer service or lack thereof that I have an issue with.

Craig.

Jim I think you better through in a nice bonus for that work Wayne did for you. You know it shut down Joe, Vin and myself for projects already in the works. To get that done for you. Bonus or rat pack you pick
