Where did you end up putting the solenoids and fuel pumps?

Chris, I need to look but if I remember they are forward of the engines under the cockpit. I will take a look when I go to the shop this week.

I am still in the "figuring out where everything is going to go stage"
So far I am extremely impressed with the model. The quality is first class. But I still cant figure out where these four metal brackets go?

Hyrumflyer84,

These are the engine mount brackets if you want to use them. They fit good for the P-120/ 160s

Hawk, thanks for helping Chris out.

No I haven't had a chance to get the 14 back up. We took it to Speedworld and the air line for the retracts was pinched. Fixed that and taxied out and the brakes didn't work!!!! Trailer gremlins. We have it in the shop and are going to swing at CA. Jets.

Chris, it's looking real good. Just remember you cockpit goes over where you have the pumps. Make sure it will all fit.

With the shape of the cockpit tub it does not interfere with the fuel pumps on the sides.
I have been just kinda getting things situated as to where they are going to end up without making anything permanent just yet. Where did you end up putting all of your air system controls? Also the swing wing motor. Did you run a lipo? And at what voltage?

Chris, the air valve is a EV5U and it id mounted to the side inder the cockpit. The speed control is in the front left corner under the nose cone. I changed out the speed control with (I forget the name but will get it for you) another one so that the control was one motion up and down. As they are standard, you have to go 1/2 way up and then control the swing. Same thing the other way. It now works the same as the Tornado (see the video on the web site).
Hope this is helpful.

Awesome job. It's very cool to see someone flying aggressive with the Tomcat. But I am wondering if there is a reason he did not install the fins below the plane under the rudders?

Awesome job flying too! I'm building a Tomcat from Avonds plans and I hope it turns out as good as yours.
