Ihave a MW54 Mk3 sitting here, waiting for an airframe.
If you could have onemodel for this (14lb thrust) engine, what would it be?</p>

Everything goes really, except Boomerang or Mick Reeves Reaper. Idon't have much interest in the Boomer and I've had a Reaper.
Only proviso is that it must be reasonably straightforward to build (i.e. not the Mick Reeves Venom) and must fly well. No limit on budget for the right model.
I'd just like real world opinions of models that people have had good experience with.

With the new wing, the Fox Composites Hawk would take a 54 with ease.
It would be fast!
Jo has one with a Supersport in it and i have seen them with a P60.

BVM Electra turbine. Flew BV's one at FJ and it's a mini Bandit, quicker to assemble at the field. I'm going to do one with a P60 next model. Or the Bobcat Composite.
But like Paul says, Trevor Skedge had a Fox Hawk with a P60 and that was good too.

Dave,
I'm not quite ready to buy yet but, in slow time, could you PMme the price of the Electra Turbine ARFand kit version?
Cheers,

Low cost fast build & works off grass.
Falcon 120 with trailing link legs,
regards,
John
two flying in my club.
One powered by MW54 & other by simjet 18lbs version.
Both very quick yet good slow handling.
130 yard grass strip.
I put the Simjet powered one together in a week of evenings.

I'm looking at a Nick Ziroli "Turbinator" for mine. There is only a short kit available. You can order the plans from him and cut your own parts if you want to save money.
This is a good build thread.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm ideally looking for real world experience of these models (or any others). For example, Iunderstand that the Stingray is not ideally suited to MW54.
At the moment I think the Electra gets my vote.
