Hi all, I need some advice on my Kingcat steering. I flown it for years on my JR 10X and no problems, I flew it yesterday now setup with the 12x and steering on takeoff was a problem, it would wander left and right and I was probably over controlling. I never had to use full elevator on takeoff , like the Bandit, but it worked better on the second flight. Maybe I'll have to get rid of the expo and dual rates for steering, can"t remember what I had on the 10x.
Any advice would be appreciated.

On my bandit, I eventually installed a cheap gyro between the steering servo and the rx. That fixed the problem perfectly.  I also use 80% expo<div>

In my Bobcat (with JR9303) I use a program mix to separate rudder from nose steering. Not sure if you have a spare channel available, but I set my rudder as master and slave the nose wheel which allowed me to have a different set of end points/expo for steering. Hope the pic is of help.

HI all, I think I found the problem, since the Kingcat sat all winter with the retracts up, the struts flattened the air line for the brakes against the former, plus the air line is getting old and not so flexible.

So how was that a problem with the steering pete. Do you use the braks to steer.

HI, I use the brakes, just before take off, to comfirm radio settings and with the flattened lines, I don"t think they released properly, but I think you already new that.

PS, while I had the brakes apart and since they have worked flawlessly for 4 years, I thought it would be a good time to clean and lubricate the o rings.
