Hey Koen,
Yep I am sure this will come sooner or later [&o] Still there is always more fun when pushing the boundaries, and I guess the chance of damage just gets higher the harder you push! I hope it does not happen too soon, but I would be a fool to think it is never going to break!

Hey Raf
I had those made by my good friend Dunc. He is a member on here and I am sure he could make some more to order. I have always been a fan of the sharks mouth look and felt the Euro was prime candidate for one.

Hello... I just bought a couple Hitech 7955 TG's from Al's hobbies as they no longer had my usual 7965mg's(much les powerful) My question is are 18kg torque(superfast) servos a bit of an overkill for a 3D dual axis nozzle (to be paired with a dual axis gyro) or is that sort of power needed to direct the exhaust of a 160 class turbine? Hope this makes sense to someone it's not easy to get tips on this kind of installation.Bigger isn't always better, well maybe...

Happy new year to everyone

Too much power is always fine, less work for the servo. I use super fast JR servos 10.5kg on my 3-D Universe and they seem fine, most use JR 11kg servos. I would not go less than 10kg, there is a lot more load than you think. Whether the servo centres or resolution is more a worry though.

All three Eurosport Universe's that we have put together have had the JR 8411 on both axis of the pipe. I cannot see any issues associated to having too much servo power so those servos you have will be fine.
There is also so much slop/ movement in the Tumble Pipe assembly after a few flights, which seems to make little difference to how the model performs so I doubt servo centring or resolution will be an issue either.
Regards Al
PS Thanks for the order If you need any other tips on the set up of the Eurosport let me know. Set up makes a big difference with any plane, but none as much as the 3D universe. It took me along time to set my first one up properly, but the second and third for a customer was very straightforward.
