I'm new to the jet/turbine world so by scanning through these threads I see Troy Built Models is offering a $300.00 discount if you purchase the turbine and jet together. Can anyone tell me if TBM is O.K. to deal with?
Thanks,
Doane

Thanks all for replying. You spend a good deal of $$$ so after the sale for service/parts is important to keep their jets flying. Why wouldn't a dealer/retailer try to keep customers coming back? I don't get it.[sm=cry_smile.gif]
Oh well.

Doan,
Some companies know how important back-up parts for your jets and service are. One of them is Todd at Dreamworks. I think the guy would take a part off his own jet to make a customer happy if he had too. Go to his website and take a long look. The man has everything youm will ever need. Another company is Laser design. Bob and Shok has helped me out of more than one hard spot. Don't go by what you see on Bob's web-site. If you want it, E-Mail him. I'm a builder of 1/3 scale prop planes for a lot of folks and have not had time to devote to my own stuff in the last year or so but thats gonna change here this fall and Todd will be the one I deal with the most.

I've had a couple of PM's indicating that the 1/7 L-39 plane may have some short comings adversely effecting it's flight characteristics. Has anyone built or flown the FEJ 1/5.5 scale L-39 plane and was there any draw backs regarding building/flying.
Thanks for the help.
