Listen to a Pulse jet doing 200mph and then listen to a turbine doing 220mph you will perceve the Pulse jet to be faster due to the noise, its Human nature that we think that noise equals power.

Honestly they both were about the same spool up/down , but the Eagle was definitely more powerful (to the tune of about 25 mph more). I understand though that Jetcat's new SX series is more thrust. Mine was a SE. In case anyone is wondering.....I own both and don't get into the ford/chevy debate as I think both companies produce excellent engines. Just my observations. In my case and application the Eagle was definitely louder though.

It would be interesting to know the stated revs, dia and stated ouput of each, I have a therory I wish to explore, if you would be so kind to post these it would be appreciated.
